Personal Development

Graduates and interns receive initial training on key aspects of the GB energy landscape and the transition to net zero, as well as an introduction to our in-house modelling software. There are regular weekly presentations on a wide variety of topics from colleagues within LCP Delta on projects they have delivered, helping to give a broader picture of the global energy transition.

In the first two weeks, graduates and interns are given an intensive training programme in C#, from the basics of coding syntax to the principles of object-orientated programming. Following this, for graduates there are regular workshops throughout the first few months to build skills in C# and introduce new concepts. There is also a weekly session for all C# developers across LCP Delta to share knowledge and discuss best practices.

Additionally, our learning management system, LCPLearn, provides access to hundreds of training resources, including workshops and e-learning – allowing an individual to self-serve and drive their own learning.
